DBA: Database Administrator (Scottsdale, AZ)
Position Summary:

The ANI MySQL Enterprise DBA will be responsible for working with a diverse multi-faceted team that supports a multi-platform database environment. You must possess general experience in production support and engineering of database infrastructure. Ideally, you will possess 5+ years of production operational experience in the management of multiple databases within a virtualized infrastructure.

Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Developing and supporting MySQL databases
  • Developing and supporting replication of MySQL databases
  • Monitor and optimize MySQL database performance and perform capacity planning
  • Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems availability and scalability
  • Developing and maintaining jobs for monitoring and reporting various aspects of system performance, resource utilization, and application usage
  • Enforce adherence to standards, policies, and procedures for managing databases
  • Work with support engineers to procure mission-critical data when necessary to support our clients' activities
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years direct MySQL DBA experience
  • Strong SQL with performance tuning experience
  • Strong Linux/Unix experience and shell scripting experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Superior verbal and written skills, encompassing complete understanding of the English language with exceptional communications skills

Junior QA Engineer (Scottsdale, AZ)
Position Summary:

Asahi Net International is seeking a motivated Jr. QA Test Engineer to join our team in supporting the development of open-source, web-based applications. The principal focus of this position will be to develop test cases and validate functionality of enterprise web applications.The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for testing in an open source community, experience developing test cases, experience logging bugs, tracking through resolution and a devotion to tracking down the cause of hard-to-find bugs. The candidate should be very detail-oriented and have an analytical approach to testing. We are looking for aptitude and talent over experience in this role. This is a great entry-level position for an individual wishing to launch a career in the IT or software development industries.

Success in this role will be measured by the following outcomes:

  • Code is tested and released with minimal defects, causing minimal impact to our clients.
  • Defects are reviewed, documented and shared back with development so that our releases are 'enterprise ready'.
  • Test environments are updated and maintained such that the testing process operates quickly and efficiently.
Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute tests against an enterprise-level web application
  • Record and communicate test results
  • File defects using a defect tracking system
  • Follow up with development to help pinpoint root causes
  • Manage test environment topologies
Job Requirements:
  • At least 2 years experience web application testing experience or comparable training and/or education
  • Must be comfortable in Unix environments (shell scripting a plus)
  • Knowledge in deploying, configuring, and monitoring web applications
  • Experience with SQL (MySQL a plus)
  • Working knowledge of Ruby and/or Java a big plus
  • Experience using open source GUI automation test tools a plus (Selenium, Watir, Cucumber)

Technical Sales Associate (Scottsdale, AZ)
Position Summary:

Work with the Sales and Marketing Team as well as the Client Support and Operations Team to develop client pipelines in the U.S. and around the world. Engage with clients, answering technical and instructional questions that they may have before and during implementation.

We are looking for motivated people that adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Working with the Sales and Marketing Team as well as the Client Support and Operations Team, the Technical Sales Associate will meet or exceed sales objectives for the ANI Sakai CLE offerings by promoting and selling the products and services to future and existing customers.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities can be diverse, and can include:

  • Manage full cycle sales from prospect to close.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Promote/sell/secure orders from prospective clients through a solution-based approach
  • Establish and maintain good business relationships with existing clients and secure renewal orders or upsell orders from them
  • Demonstrate services to existing/prospective clients and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
  • Develop clear and effective proposals/quotations for existing and prospective clients
  • Research sources for developing prospective clients, and develop your pipeline and forecasts for sales
  • Maintain timely and accurate CRM data
  • Be well informed about current industry trends and be able to talk knowledgeably about the higher education industry
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services
  • Attend meetings, conference calls, seminars, and trade shows
  • Support various sales and marketing needs of the company
Job Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:
